Heartland Poets to meet Friday

Heartland Poets, a local chapter of the League of Minnesota Poets, will meet from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday in the large room of the Brainerd Public Library.

"Galway Kinnell: Poems on Outrageous Ideas" will be presented by Maxine Russell, Brainerd, following a short business meeting conducted by Edward Dallas, Deerwood, president of Heartland Poets.

Refreshments will be served. Bring copies of your poetry to share with fellow writers. This monthly meeting is free and open to the public.
