Those interested can obtain a copy of proposed changes by calling the MHB office at 547-7263 or through the Cass County Courthouse toll free line outside the Walker-Hackensack area at 888-547-3301. MHB will consider at a Dec. 3 meeting whether to incorporate changes the public suggests, MHB Director Jan VanHunnik told the Cass County Board on Tuesday. MHB will adopt a final draft Dec. 15 to recommend to the Minnesota Legislature in January. The draft the Legislature approves will be returned to member county boards for approval next spring, with a targeted July 1 effective date, VanHunnik said.
