Pop legend Springfield takes a step back after 2004 comeback
The first thing you'll notice about Rick Springfield's new album is that opening track "What's Victoria's Secret" sounds exactly like "Jesse's Girl." The music and vocal inflection is the same, only Springfield launches into something other than "And she's watching him with those eyes ..."

McLellan will ease original music drought with Wednesday's show
The Clintons stand out from the pop/rock pack because John McLellan has a voice that's genuinely pleasant to listen to, and he also has a great sense of humor. Something on the Bozeman, Mont., band's sixth album, "Have Another," will make you smile - if not, check your DNA to see if you're 100 percent human.

I'm startled by the logic in the recent letter "Liberal ideas improve society". Ultimately, we are supposed to believe that because five liberal ideas helped society, all liberal ideas will help society. This is simply illogical. I think the writer must have missed the article several weeks ago where I (satirically) proposed that we legalize murder. That would be a new, progressive idea, but I doubt it would be a good one.
VOX POP
Can you please not drive through the Forestview staff parking lot to drop off your children? That is what the loop is for. You put staff members and children in danger. You are weaving in and out of parking spots, trying to get to the nearest exit after you danger many as you drop off your kids. I have dealt with this since the opening of Forestview and I have had enough! Maybe a staff member needs to sit at the entrances and only allow vehicles (designated for) staff!

It's Wednesday morning, the day after the election. With the votes counted and the Democrats firmly in power, a couple of thoughts come to mind. This might be as close as this country will get to having a dictatorship. That word has a nasty tone to it, but it does have some pluses and minuses.
