Brainerd School District voters apparently re-elected the three incumbents Tuesday.
Incumbents Reed Campbell, Ruth Ann Gmeinder and Kent Montgomery led the voting in the five-person race. With 18 of 19 precincts in, Campbell had the most votes with 6,941, Gmeinder had 6,442 and Montgomery had 5,948.
Mark Olson had 4,660 votes and Phillip McConville had 2,753.
Campbell said it was wonderful see the community vote all three incumbents back into office.
"I feel honored to be able to serve another four years," said Campbell. "We'll have our work cut out for us and (the referendum not passing will) hurt."
Gmeinder thanked all of the voters for their support and said she'll try to live up to their expectations.
Montgomery said the community vote for all three incumbents showed that it has faith in the school board.
"I feel fortunate to be here and now we have a challenge ahead of us," said Montgomery.
