JoAnn Bourassa
NISSWA - JoAnn Bourassa, nee Jorgensen, age 64, of Nisswa, went to her rest on Nov. 3, 2005, with her family at her side, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Preceded in death by: parents; brother, Ed Jorgensen. Long-time resident of the Brainerd area, she worked at Super One and Madden's. Former owner of Builder's Design Center, her classy, fun-loving spirit was admired by many.
Survived by: her children, Bryan (Lisa) Bourassa of Ham Lake, Bonita (Phil) Haden of Coon Rapids, Paula (Rich) Payton of Rochester, Nicole (Tony) Adams of Mankato; grandchildren, Alicia, Austin, Riley, Tori; four step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn (Noran) Tuterow of Lincoln, Calif.; brother, Ray Jorgensen of Merrifield; half-sister, Mercye Dondero of American Canyon, Calif.; former husband of 20 years, Robert Bourassa of Baxter; many other relatives and many, many, dear friends.
The memorial service is Thursday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m., Lutheran Church of the Cross, 5064 County Road 13, Nisswa, MN with visitation one hour prior to service. Private interment.
