CLOQUET -- Myrtle A. Gravley, 89, Cloquet, and formerly of Baxter, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at Community Memorial Hospital of Cloquet.
She was born Jan. 18, 1911, in Lake Wilson to Nels and Olava. She attended a one-room schoolhouse. She was a homemaker and worked as a housekeeper for summer residents at Gull Lake. She was a member of Lakewood Evangelical Free Church of Baxter. She had been living with her daughter in Cloquet for the last eight years.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Peterson, Cloquet; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
A son, Marlowe; three brothers, Thomas, Martin and Arnold; and two sisters, Selma and Olga, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Lakewood Evangelical Free Church of Baxter with the Rev. Randy Ahlberg officiating. Burial will be in Gull River Cemetery. The funeral will be co-celebrated with her sister, Selma Duus, who died Nov. 3, 2000.
Friends may call an hour before services Thursday at Lakewood Evangelical Free Church of Baxter.
