INVESTIGATIONS - Received a request from Lockheed Martin Flight Service at 11:10 p.m. Thursday to locate an overdue plane. The plane was later located and there were no problems.
CRASHES - No people were injured but a vehicle reportedly sustained major damage in a collision with a deer about 10 p.m. Thursday on County Road 3.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 1:11 p.m. Thursday. Both vehicles were driving south on South Sixth Street when there was a rear-end crash with minor damage to both vehicles.
Received a report of a car hitting a deer at 7:51 a.m. Thursday at County Roads 3 and 19 in Lake Edward Township. A possession tag was requested.
HAZARD - An injured deer in the road was reported at 8:18 p.m. Thursday on County Road 45.
Received a report about 10 a.m. Thursday of two horses loose on County Road 113 in Roosevelt Township.
THEFT - Received a report of identity theft Thursday from an individual on the 7000 block of Weatherbee Road.
PROPERTY DAMAGE - Damage was reported Thursday to signs on County Road 136.
Wayne Hanson, Thursday, 4000 block of Gull Lake Dam Road, reported damage to his vehicle with an unknown time or location.
GAS LINE - A gas line was reported hit at 11:43 a.m. Thursday on Allen and Maple Ridge roads in Garrison. The Garrison Fire Department was paged and CenterPoint Energy notified.
ARRESTS - Arrested a 33-year-old Onamia man for outstanding warrants from Mille Lacs County after being called for a disturbance at 2:07 a.m. Friday on the 600 block of Laurel Street.
DISTURBANCE - Received a report of an intoxicated male wandering by Pine Square about 12:41 a.m. Friday on the 3300 block of Oak Street. The male was given a ride home and left with a sober adult.
Received a report of a disturbance Thursday on the 500 block of West College Drive and discovered it was an argument about who would clean the apartment. The parties agreed to work it out.
PROWLER - Received a report of a prowler pounding on a door about 11:21 p.m. Thursday on the 700 block of Southeast 13th Street. The resident told police the person pounding on the door was possibly trying to break-in. On arrival, officers found a pizza delivery guy walking away from the door. The resident ordered a pizza but didn't think the person pounding on the door was the pizza delivery. The delivery guy reported he had been knocking on the door several times and when no one answered had tried knocking louder to get their attention.
CRASHES - Sometimes it's not just the vehicles drivers have to watch out for. About 8:20 p.m. Thursday, an eastbound vehicle on the Washington Street bridge lost its left front wheel when the lug nuts came off. The wheel rolled down the street and was hit by a passing vehicle. No one was reported injured.
No injuries were reported in a crash at 1:06 p.m. Thursday at Southeast 13th and Quince streets.
FOUND PROPERTY - Three males, dressed all in black, reportedly dropped two Next bicycles in a yard Thursday on the 600 block of Southeast 19th Street and left. An officer collected the bikes.
SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR - Received a report of suspicious behavior when a vehicle, with its windows fogged up, was reported parked at the River Landing and Evergreen Street. The vehicle left when officers arrived and was stopped at the 300 block of F Street. The subjects admitted to "fooling around" and officers advised them of the criminal penalties associated with that kind of activity in public places.
FIRE ALARM - Responded to a fire alarm with the Brainerd Fire Department at 5:37 a.m. Thursday on the 700 block of West College Drive. No fire was observed. Firefighters cleared the site at 6:15 a.m.
THEFTS - Received a report of a theft from Sprint PCS Thursday on the 15100 block of Edgewood Drive.
Michelle Evans, 13000 block of Maplewood Drive, Thursday reported theft of a laptop.
CRASHES - Received a report of a car/deer crash at 6:36 a.m. Friday on the 5600 block of Clearwater Road.
No injuries were reported in a crash at 7:20 p.m. Thursday at Baxter Drive and Highway 210 when a vehicle hit a median.
Received a request for a car-kill permit for a deer Thursday on Highland Scenic Road.
ARRESTS - Arrested a 35-year-old woman for DUI about 12:32 a.m. Friday on Highway 210 and Elder Drive and had her vehicle towed.
Arrested a 23-year-old man after a traffic stop at 10:57 p.m. Thursday at County Road 48 and Highway 210 for driving after suspension and possession of marijuana. The vehicle was towed.
Received a report of an uncooperative shoplifter at Walmart Thursday on the 7200 block of Glory Road. An 18-year-old female was arrested and held for court because she was homeless.
