Ruth Irene Wilt, 89, Brainerd, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.
She was born April 23, 1913, in Montevideo to Arthur and Lena (Ruski) Archer. She attended rural school near Lucan. She married Everett Wilt on Sept. 20, 1934, in Lucan. They lived and farmed in Lamberton until 1959 when they moved to Dundas and bought a bar. In 1971, they moved to Rapid City, S.D., and bought a bar with the family. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral.
Survivors include a son, Dick Wilt, Brainerd; a daughter, Marilyn Welch, Rapid City; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Her husband and a son, Greg Wilt, died earlier.
Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Father Seamus Walsh officiating.
Friends may call an hour before services Thursday at the funeral chapel.
Additional services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral in Rapid City. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Rapid City.
