ST. CLOUD -- Dorothy A. Siegler, 91, St. Cloud, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at St. Benedict's Center in St. Cloud.
She was born Aug. 25, 1909, in Faribault to Anton and Gertrude (Baltes) Schleppenbach. She married Michael Siegler on Aug. 12, 1930, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring. She lived in St. Cloud all of her married life. Her husband died Feb. 24, 1982. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral Parish, St. Anne's Christian Women and Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Seigler, Fairmont, and Michael Seigler, Lewiston, Mont.; three daughters, Dorothy Putz, St. Cloud, Betty Fischer, Sun City West, Ariz., and Rita Revenig, Baxter; two sisters, Martha Torning, St. Paul, and Loretta Anderson, St. George, Utah; 29 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren.
Her husband; two daughters, Donna Mae and Mary Plombon; two brothers, George and Raymond; and two sisters, Clara Reiter and Rita Ficker, died earlier.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Cathedral Catholic Church in St. Cloud.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Daughters of Isabella and St. Anne's Christian Women will pray at 4 p.m. Tuesday followed by parish prayers at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials are preferred to the Poor Clares Monastery in Sauk Rapids.
