Area legislators, new and old, to speak at Eggs and Issues event

Area legislators, both incumbents and soon-to-be lawmakers, will discuss business issues at the Eggs and Issues event scheduled for Dec. 10.

Legislators invited to participate are Sens.-elect Paul Gazelka, District 12 and John Carlson, District 4; Reps. John Ward, District 12A; Larry Howes, District 4B; and Rep.-elect Mike LeMieur, District 12B.

Eggs and Issues will be conducted from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Dec. 10 at The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes, 6967 Lake Forest Road, Baxter.

The cost is $15 per person for Brainerd Lakes Chamber members and $25 per person for non-members. The price includes a breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, breakfast meat, breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit, and beverages. There will be time for questions and answers.

Advance reservations and cancellations accepted until 8 a.m., 72 hours before the event. Cancellations after that time are responsible for payment. Register online for this event or call 829-2838.
