The first 5-kilometer run/one-mile walk is scheduled Thanksgiving morning and will benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Starting location will be Super One Foods in Baxter.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.
The 5km run starts at 9 a.m. The one-mile walk will start immediately following the start of the 5km.
Registration fee is $20 for adults by Nov. 14, $25 the day of the race. Fee for children ages 8-12 is $10. Children 8-under are free (does not include T-shirt).

Olejnicak, Saints advance
DULUTH - The St. Scholastica women's soccer team and keeper Erin Olejnicak of Brainerd shut out the University of Minnesota-Morris 3-0 Tuesday in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament semifinal match.
Olejnicak, a sophomore, earned her sixth shutout of the season as she stopped three shots on the day.
The Saints move on to the UMAC Tournament championship match where they will host Northland College at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Conference honors Weisz
Sophomore Whitney Weisz of Little Falls has been named the Central Lakes Conference performer of the week ending Oct. 31.
In girls' swimming and diving, Weisz broke her school records in the 50 and 100 freestyles at the CLC meet.
Medeck, Peterson to speak to boosters club
Central Lakes College football coach Greg Medeck and CLC volleyball coach Jane Peterson will be speakers at the Brainerd Sports Boosters Club meeting, which begins at noon Thursday at the Moose Lodge.
Cross country runner Chris Knutson is the Warriors Athlete of the Week.
