CROSBY -- The Crosby-Ironton Senior Citizens Club will hold its monthly meeting and potluck 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Cuyuna Range Community Center in Crosby.
During the business meeting, plans will be discussed for the annual catered Christmas dinner set for Dec. 13.
Those attending are reminded to bring their own dishes, silver and something to share for the meal. Coffee will be provided. Hosting the potluck will be John and Helen Pappas.
Following the meeting and meal, Scott Ruffing, music director at Cuyuna Range Elementary School, will entertain with vocal favorites. Sally Mann will accompany him on piano.
All area seniors are welcome and invited to join the club. Annual dues are $1.
Flu shot clinics scheduled
The Crow Wing County Health Department will sponsor the following walk-in flu clinics. Cost for a flu shot is $15.
Wednesday -- 9:30-11:30 a.m. at St. Alice Church in Pequot Lakes; 1-2:30 p.m. at St. Christopher's Church in Nisswa.
Friday -- 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. at the Crow Wing County Health Department.
Ironton Legion to hold craft show, bake sale
IRONTON -- The Myrin-James American Legion Auxiliary #443 of Ironton will sponsor the third annual Craft Show and Bake Sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ironton Legion.
Items will include wooden furniture, shelves, benches, quilted jackets and dish towels.
The auxiliary will host a "Sarma Luncheon" starting at 11 a.m. with all proceeds to be used for youth programs.
