Stephanie Spencer and Merlin James were married Aug. 5, 2000, at College Church of the Nazarene in Olathe, Kan., with the Rev. Dennis Apple officiating.
Parents are Richard and Hazel Spencer, Brainerd, and David James, Olathe, and the late Gladys James.
The bride's attendants were Jennifer Spencer, Jean Spencer and Sara Spencer. Flower girl was Bethany Spencer. Personal attendant was Beverly Gee.
The groom's attendants were Darrell James, Doug Hohulin and Kevin Erickson. Ushers were John Hill, Steve Spencer, Jeff Kazmaier and Jim Williams. Ringbearer was Zachary Spencer.
A reception was at the church fellowship hall.
The bride graduated from North High School of North St. Paul and MidAmerica Nazarene University of Olathe. She is employed at Ash Grove Cement of Overland, Kan.
The groom graduated from Goodland High School of Goodland, Kan., and MidAmerica Nazarene University of Olathe. He is employed at Honeywell of Olathe.
The couple is at home in Olathe.
