Ebert receives awards

Dan Ebert of Lakeshore received two honors for the 2009 season as the Grand Rapids Speedway held its year-end awards banquet Friday.
He was honored as the track's Midwest Modified points champions. He was also named the track's sportsman of the year, an award given to just one driver in all divisions.
Ebert is now training for Snocross racing, which begins Thanksgiving weekend at Spirit Mountain in Duluth.
