Melrose ends Pierz's season AREA VOLLEYBALL
SAUK RAPIDS - Lindsay Monson had a career night with 19 kills, three blocks, two ace serves and a dig, but second-seeded Pierz was defeated 3-2 by third-seeded Melrose in the North Subsection 6-2A semifinals Monday night.
Miranda Przybilla added 19 digs, Kelly Meyer 46 set assists and 12 digs and Sammi Lucking eight blocks and 12 kills for the Pioneers.
