Viola Heidecker

BAXTER - Viola Heidecker, 88, of Baxter, passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Diamond Willow in Baxter, Minn.

Viola Marie was born on May 23, 1921, to John and Regina (Hennek) Langton in Long Prairie, Minn. She married Herbert Heidecker in Long Prairie. They then moved to the Brainerd lakes area where they spent all of their married years together and raised their family here.

Viola is survived by her children, Keith (Shirley) Heidecker, of Brainerd, and Roberta Tumms, of Eden Prairie. Also surviving her are seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister; three brothers; and granddaughter.

Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at noon at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Brainerd. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery in Little Falls.

No memorials are preferred.
