Agnes M. Oseland, 84, Brainerd, passed away Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
She was born on Jan. 19, 1919, in Cumberland Wis., to Levi and Mamie (Hanson) Ostman. She married Paul Oseland on Oct. 14, 1939, in Superior, Wis. She was a seamstress for the Brainerd Garment Factory. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Brainerd.
Survived by her son, Leonard (Karen) Oseland of Baxter; her daughter, Nancy (Dennis) Leonard of Cottage Grove; her grandchildren, Mark (Tina) Oseland, Janet (Randy) Ewald, Patti (Fred) Turner, Cindy (Brandon) Larson, Scott (Cathy) Leonard, Carolee (Chad) Pederson, and Karla Leonard and her special friend, Jeff Lanc; her great-grandchildren, Amber, Greg, Nicholle, Chase, Taryn and Jakob; her great-great-grandchildren, Caiden and Nevaeh; her brother, Ernie Ostman; and her sisters, Emma (Iver) Anderson, and Irene (Galen) Collins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, her mother, Mamie, her father, Levi, her sisters, Eleanor and Millie, and her brothers, Lloyd, Marvin and Raymond.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Harold Tongen officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or First Presbyterian Church in Brainerd.
