Doris Ann (Hall) Nix, 39, of Brainerd, died Sunday, Nov. 2, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Services will be private. Doris was loved and will be missed very much by her fianc, Mark Torgerson; her son, Stanley Nix; her mother, Betty Hall; four brothers, Tim, Rick, Julius and Steven Hall; a sister, Mary Grendahl; and several nieces and nephews. She was born Feb. 19, 1930, in Cloquet to William and Ethel Kyle. She graduated from Cloquet High School in 1948. Eva married Robert V. Swanson on Feb. 18, 1950.
