The University of Minnesota Extension Service and Minnesota Agricultural Experiment Station have released Minnesota Gardening 2001 -- a calendar developed for home gardening and landscape enthusiasts across the state.
Minnesota Gardening 2001 is the only calendar written and designed exclusively for Minnesota. It is the perfect complement to any gardener's collection.
Each month, in addition to the full-page color photo, the calendar features timely tips for lawn, garden and houseplant care, as well as useful titles of related Extension publications. Maps of average frost-free dates and USDA Plant Hardiness Zones for Minnesota are also included. A highlight in the 2001 calendar is a page on ornamental grasses. The calendar is 12 by 9 inches and is spiral bound.
Minnesota Gardening 2001 is available at the Cass County Extension Office. It sells for $11.95 per calendar (plus shipping and handling if necessary).
You may purchase the calendar by stopping by the Cass County Extension Office in the Cass County Courthouse Annex, or by calling 547-7392.
