Omann sparks Pierz's shutout

PIERZ - John Omann carried 16 times for 209 yards and three scores as No. 2-seeded Pierz recorded its fifth shutout of the season, 37-0, over No. 3 Osakis in the Section 6-2A semifinals Saturday.

Cody Stangl collected 44 yards and a score and Mitch Woitalla added 43 yards and a touchdown as the seventh-ranked Pioneers improved their record to 9-1.
