LITTLE FALLS -- Cedric John Wolters Sr., 58, Little Falls, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001, at St. Cloud Hospital.
He was born June 27, 1943, in Little Falls to Hans and Marguerite (Hansen) Wolters. He graduated from Little Falls High School in 1963. He married Gloria Jean Johannes. He worked in carpentry with his father and drove an ice cream truck. He attended St. Cloud Vocational School for auto mechanics and spent many years living and working in the St. Cloud area at Vic's Alignment, Phillips 66 station, Turbo Dynamics and Ron's Sun Center station. He returned to Little Falls in 1975. He then worked in farming and upholstery. In 1982, his wife Gloria died. He married Pamela Binnebose in 1983, and continued working as a dairy farmer.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Dee Okerman, Little Falls, and Beth Daly, Ramsey; three sons, Mark Wolters, Sartell, Mike Wolters, Little Falls, and Cedric Wolters Jr., Oak Grove, Ky.; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Arita Breid, Sauk Rapids; and a brother, George Wolters, Sauk Rapids.
His parents; his first wife, Gloria; and a sister, VirJane Drake, died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Greggrey Valentine and the Rev. Roland Jennings officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Little Falls.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls and an hour before services Monday at the church. There will be a family and friends service at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel as well. Memorials are preferred to the family or the American Cancer Society.
