On Tuesday, Oct. 7 I had my car (1996 Green Pontiac Bonneville) parked in the 500 block of Laurel Street in front of city hall in the third stall facing west. I was at an appointment approximately from 3:25 p.m. to 4:35 p.m. Upon returning to my car, I had a note placed under my driver's side windshield wiper. The note read as follows; "Make, model, color and license plate No. hit your car about 4 p.m. and left."
I'm very grateful for the information provided, but I need your identity. Without your identity, I will not be able to have my car repaired (which is a substantial amount of damage/expense). The party involved is denying they were in that area of town at that time and is not willing to take responsibility for the accident that occurred. Your identity as a witness is crucial in clearing up this matter. Thanks again for leaving me the information on this hit-and-run incident, but I need just a few more details. Please, contact Lori at 218-825-8970.
