BREEZY POINT -- A fifth annual conference designed exclusively for women will be offered Nov. 14-15 at Breezy Point Resort.
Hearts of Women is a two-day conference filled with speakers and creative events designed for women to develop personal growth and gain new ideas, along with a fresh vision of each woman's uniqueness.
Registration will be 6 to 7 p.m. Nov. 14. Keynote speaker Nov. 14 will be Deb Isle, Brainerd, who will share "Lessons Learned in the Valley."
Isle said there are times when traveling through life takes an unexpected dip or an unwelcome dive. She will share her personal journey with participants.
Sessions offered 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 15 include "If You're Too Busy to Laugh, You're too Busy" and "Follow Your Dream, This Isn't a Dress Rehearsal," presented by Karla Heeter; "Experiencing Your Life," by Heidi Funk; "Women Are Taking Charge of Their Finances," by Nadine Gessner; "Embrace Your Sexuality," by Sharon Nordin; "What's in Your Mug," by Betsy Musty; "Loving and Living with Aging Parents," by Cherlynn Nelson; and two creative sessions to choose from -- a vintage style show and a surprise creative session.
Keynote speaker Nov. 15 will be Jan Boettcher who will speak on "An Old Chick In a Busy Barnyard." She asks participants if their lives are so busy that sometimes it seems like a noisy, disorganized barnyard. She will help participants find ways to make changes to their hectic lifestyles to curb the chaos and get their lives in order. She is president of FunDamental Speaking and lives in Coon Rapids with her family.
Registration deadline for the conference is Nov. 8. Cost for Nov. 14 is $30 and for Nov. 15 is $60. Cost to attend events both days is $75. These sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-in registration will not be available. Organizers request that infants and children do not attend the conference.
