Celebration of grace
Riverside Union Church will present the celebration of grace at 7 p.m. Nov. 7. The music group In His Name will perform. The church is 8.5 miles south of the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds on County Road 45, or 3.5 miles north of the Crow Wing/Morrison county line on County Road 45.
CCW will hold a fall bazaar 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 8 at St. Francis Hall. The bazaar will include crafts, a bake sale, silent auction and raffle. Lunch will be $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under and will be served 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Solid Rock Bible Camp
Solid Rock Bible Camp will have a spaghetti dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 7 at Lincoln Evangelical Free Church. Proceeds will be used for the dining hall project. For more information, call 575-2860.
Gospel music concert
The Dave Ward Men's Quartet will perform a concert of gospel music 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Cushing Baptist Church. The public is invited to attend and a coffee fellowship time will follow the concert.

Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby has a healing service at 6:30 p.m. the first Sunday of each month at St. Francis Hall. Paul Grussing, a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Brainerd, will present a forum titled "Exploring Christian Hymnody." This is one of a series of Sunday forums being held at First Congregational UCC. People with an interest in hymns will find this forum of interest. Topics such as The Hymnal as Gospel, Major Periods in Hymnody, The Lectionary and Use of Hymns, Contemporary Writers and Hymns, among others, will lead to discussions in this area of interest to church members of all denominations. All forums begin at 11 a.m. following regular church services at 10 a.m.
First Friday prayer meeting
The First Friday prayer meeting is a nondenominational gathering focused on praying for spiritual revival in the Brainerd area. The meeting is held 7 to 9 p.m. the first Friday of every month at Bethany Good Samaritan Chapel. The next meeting will be Nov. 7. Anyone who wants to pray for their community is welcome.
Candy Island set for Brainerd Assembly of God
Come to Candy Island from 6 to 9:30 p.m. today at the Brainerd Assembly of God Church, Highway 371 South. Admission is $1 and it is open to kids in preschool through sixth grade. Puppeteers of St. Paul's Episcopal Church
The puppeteers of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, better known as the Sunday school classes, directed by Emily Derby, will perform in place of the sermon at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday. The puppeteers range in age from 6 to 14.

Peter Rumachik, hero in the Soviet War against Christianity, will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Baxter.
