Baxter police

CRASH - No injuries were reported after a vehicle struck a deer at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 371 at the Mississippi River bridge.

THEFT - Evelyn Voss on Wednesday reported the theft of her vehicle while at Walmart Supercenter, 7295 Glory Road.

AGENCY ASSIST - Assisted the Cass County Sheriff's Department with a domestic assault involving a knife at 3:20 a.m. Thursday at a residence on the 4000 block of Crow Wing Circle Southwest.

Brainerd police

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Received a report at 6:14 p.m. Wednesday of two men possibly damaging a vehicle on the 700 block of West College Drive. An officer arrived and observed paper confetti on the ground next to the vehicle but no damage. The officer made contact with one of the men, who said he was just playing a joke on the vehicle's owner. The officer contacted the vehicle's owner, who confirmed that they have been playing jokes on each other for some time.

DISTURBANCE - At 6:41 p.m. Wednesday officers responded to Southeast 13th and Oak streets after it was reported a man with a cut on his head and a woman were arguing. An officer located the couple and determined it was not a cut but a birthmark and the two were just being loud. Both were sent on their way.

CRASH - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday at North Fourth and Washington streets.

Crow Wing sheriff

CRASH - No injuries were reported after a vehicle struck a deer at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday at Crow Wing County Roads 2 and 8.
