The Brainerd Jaycees recently presented a check for $400 to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program in the Brainerd lakes area. Mike Sands of the Jaycees made the presentation to Don Bode, chairman of the Program.

"Dimensions in Horror," the Halloween haunted house sponsored by Community Action, will be open at the Brainerd Armory tonight and Tuesday from 7-10 p.m. Admission charge will be 50 cents.

H.F. Sherman of St. Paul, in charge of leases and real estate of Ward's chain stores, was in Brainerd today and made the statement that Montgomery Ward and Company would establish a large retail store in Brainerd opening for spring business.
