Cass County voters who already mailed their absentee ballots may visit the Cass County auditor-treasurer's office in Walker or their precinct voting sites in Pillager, Lake Shore and East Gull Lake city halls to cast an official supplemental ballot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday or from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
According to Cass County Auditor-Treasurer Sharon Anderson, voters who have not yet sent in their ballots and want to vote for a DFL Senate candidate other than the late Paul Wellstone, should fill out the name of their candidate of choice on the write-in line and complete the oval beside it.
Anderson said absentee voters may get their official supplemental ballots at her office in Walker or at Pillager, Lake Shore and East Gull Lake city halls. Absentee voters who live in Fairview and Sylvan townships need to go to Pillager City Hall to get their supplemental absentee ballots, she said.
Anderson said the county has an estimated 1,200 absentee voters so far for this election and 2,316 mail ballot voters in its 29 mail ballot precincts.
Those who already mailed in a mail ballot and want to change their vote for Senate candidate can get an official supplemental ballot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday or 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Cass County auditor-treasurer's office in Walker.
