Trinity Lutheran celebrations
After three years of study, Trinity's 10th graders will affirm their Baptism and be confirmed at the 10:45 a.m. service Sunday, October 31. The worship celebration will include special music and the Lord's Supper.
Both the 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. services will also commemorate Reformation Sunday. On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses against the practice of selling indulgences to the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church. This act of faith was the impetus that eventually led to the formation of the Lutheran Church.
