Little Falls advances to semis

COLD SPRING - Two touchdowns by Zach Horejsi and another by Alex Scott were all Little Falls needed as the No. 5 Flyers upset No. 4 Rocori 21-7 in the quarterfinals of the Section 8-4A playoffs Tuesday.

The Spartans scored first on a 1-yard Spencer Schulte run at 7:25 in the second quarter, but Horejsi and Scott countered with runs of one and four yards, the latter coming with five seconds left to give the Flyers a 14-0 halftime lead.

The final score of the game came on a 46-yard run by Horejsi with 3:08 left in the third.

The Flyers dominated all aspects of the game, with a 19-9 advantage in first downs and a 2-to-1 edge in time of possession. Horejsi's 31 carries for 186 yards led Little Falls to a 248-32 domination of the running game and a 338-182 total yardage advantage.
