Browerville ends Pillager's season

BROWERVILLE - Sean Nokken scored the only touchdown for seventh-seeded Pillager as the flu-stricken Huskies were defeated 28-6 in the Section 6-1A quarterfinals Tuesday by No. 2 Browerville, ranked eighth in Class 1A.

Nineteen players were missing for Pillager, according to Huskies coach Lowell Scearcy. A few players were out with injuries, but most with the flu.

Huskies quarterback Jordan Hunstad accounted for all but 24 of Pillager's 225 offensive yards as he rushed 17 times for 63 yards and was 10 of 23 passing for 138 yards.
