Fall for the choirs
The Brainerd High School choirs get together for their annual fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Tornstrom Auditorium, Washington Middle School, in Brainerd. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students.
Steve Cloutier, known for his finger-style guitar work on pop, jazz and classical work, performs a Grassroots Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Nisswa Community Center. Tickets are $10.
So funny it's scary
The half-dozen or so "Scariest Comedians of 2004" hit the stage starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Scott Hansen's Comedy Gallery at The Rail in downtown Brainerd. Tickets are $10, or $5 with ticket stub from previous show.
Comedian Bob Newhart performs a few classics and plenty of fresh material at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs Events & Convention Center north of Onamia. Tickets are $25 and $32.
The Legacy Chorale of Greater Minnesota will present "Minnesota Masters" at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tornstrom Auditorium, Washington Middle School, in Brainerd. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.
