Hornets capture consolation title

ROSEMOUNT - Patrick Trout scored two goals and assisted on another as the Lake Region Christian School Hornets defeated Heritage of Karlstad 3-1 Saturday to win the MACS state consolation championship.

Aaron Bostrom scored the Hornets' third goal. Ryan Christenson collected eight saves.

David Jensen, who assisted on Trout's first goal, was named to the all-tournament team. Jensen and Eric Bolduc were named first-team All-MACS Conference with Bostrom and Patrick making the second team.
