ATVs and property values

What'll ATV traffic do to your property values? The ATV trail promoters would make good used car salespeople. When promoters talk low traffic counts they forget to mention the numbers are from trails that aren't connected or promoted. Limited use isn't how the promoters sold the county on the idea either. ATV riders are riding to have fun, not ride miles of boring blacktop. They want to see what the machine will do. The miles of road trail is just flyover country from one forest trail to another. Even so, isn't it tempting to test the machine on the way?

It's not budging

I'm addressing the writer who described people as using the empty left-hand lane on Highway 210 near the construction as budging in. If the lane is empty and open then it is still a two-lane road until that point and it's not budging in.

Who let the dogs out?

This is for all of the dog owners in Brainerd. There are people still walking in the fall and many bicyclists who ride their bikes. Please keep your dogs under control, on a leash or in the kennel especially in the early morning hours along South Sixth Street. Please keep your dogs with you instead of letting them wander.
