Meet the candidates

On Nov. 3, Brainerd School District residents will head to the polls to vote for four school board candidates. The Dispatch invited the 10 school board candidates to submit information about themselves and answer questions related to the district.

There are three four-year positions and one special two-year position up for election. Candidates for the four-year terms include Howard Brewer, Nancy Cross, Todd Froemming, Tom Haglin, incumbent Ruth Nelson and Chris Robinson. Two-year candidates include James Hunt, Theresa Knierim, incumbent Bob Nystrom and Tom Peterson. The candidates in alphabetic order:
