NORTHFIELD - The St. Olaf football team lost an overtime heartbreaker Saturday to the St. John'S Johnnies 20-14.
Brainerd High School graduate John Haberman threw for 129 yards and two interceptions on 13-of-19 passing and carried the ball nine times for 17 yards.
Haberman completed three third-down conversion passes on the Oles game-tying touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
Former Brainerd Warrrior John Haberman rushed the ball during St. Olaf's overtime loss to St. Johns Saturday in Northfield.
After the Oles' defense intercepted a Johnnies pass, Haberman led the offense to the 5 setting up a 22-yard game-winning field goal. The kick was blocked sending the game into overtime.
St. Olaf has now lost four straight and Saturday travel to Concordia in Moorhead.
