Letters deadline

The deadline for political letters to the editor before the Nov. 4 election is 5 p.m. Oct. 28. The Dispatch must receive a letter by 5 p.m. Oct. 28 in order for it to be considered for publication. The Dispatch won't publish any pre-election political letters after Oct. 30.

The word limit for most letters is 300 words. For endorsement letters or any letter that encourages people to vote one way or another the word limit is 50 words.
