Brainerd defeated St. Cloud Cathedral 5-0 and first-place Sauk Rapids 4-1 Saturday in the Central Minnesota High School Bowling League at Granite Bowl in St. Cloud.
Three of the five games against Sauk Rapids were all-fill games, including a 267 game in which the Warriors started with eight strikes.
Jared Sedlacek, Kim Carper and Mitch Schueller led Brainerd against Cathedral with 100-, 90.9- and 87.5-percent fills.
Carper, Mike Holmes, Greg Yde and Sedlacek had 100-percent fills against Sauk Rapids followed by Will Bassett and Schueller with 90- and 87.5-percent fills.
Down 165-135 in the eighth frame against Sauk Rapids, Holmes struck in the ninth frame and Carper doubled in the 10th to win the deciding game 194-184.
Brainerd travels to Granite Bowl in St. Cloud on Saturday to face St. Cloud Apollo.
