ST. CLOUD - Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 27, 2008 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waite Park, for Patricia "Pat" Ann Gasperlin, 72, of St. Cloud, who died on Wednesday at home. Friends and relatives may call from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud and at the church one hour prior to the services on Monday. Parish prayers will be at 5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bernard Gruenes will officiate.
Pat was born to the late Paul and Mary Jane (McCarthy) Siegel in Fort Ripley, Minn. She married Ralph C. Gasperlin on May 1, 1954, at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Fort Ripley. Pat retired as cashier/accounting from Sears after 30 years of service. She remained very active in the church, as well as volunteering in many capacities. She received her high school diploma later in her life from Apollo High School. She was a member of Christian Mothers and loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She was known and loved by all as "Oma."
Survivors include her husband, Ralph; children, Geralyn "Gerri" (Jerry) Dickinson, of Sauk Rapids, Roxanne (Kurt) Stunek, of St. Cloud, Dianne (Doug) Roberts, of Staples, Todd (Tammy), of Becker, and Tim (Danna), of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Jakob, Aaron and Gia Dickinson, Nathan and Meredith Stunek, Claire and Sophie Roberts, Tucker and Thomas Gasperlin, Andrew, Katie and Emily Gasperlin; great-granddaughter, Lilly Patricia Dickinson; siblings, Laura Larson, Leo (Eldora) Siegel, Vera (Sterling) Sayer; and sister-in-law, Marion Siegel. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joel Roberts; and her brothers, Norman, LeRoy and Muggs.
