Gertrude Kapsner

Gertrude Kapsner, 88, of Lastrup, Minn., passed away Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, at the Pierz Villa in Pierz, Minn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25 at St. John's Catholic Church in Lastrup, Minn. Burial will be at St. John's Parish Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 24, at the Brenny Funeral Home in Pierz, Minn. Christian Mothers rosary will be at 4:30 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until the service hour on Monday at the Brenny Funeral Home in Pierz, Minn.

She is survived by her husband, Alois Kapsner of Lastrup; sons Br. Rolland Kapsner MSF of Seguin, Texas, Gerald Kapsner (Marilyn) of Little Falls, Daniel Kapsner (Patricia) of Mankato, Maurice Kapsner (Linda) of Minnetrista, Eugene Kapsner (Joan) of Cambridge, Wis, Warren Kapsner (Joyce) of Golden Valley, John Kapsner (Donna) of N. Mankato and Gregory Kapsner (Sue) of Maple Grove; daughter Lucille Burggraff (David) of Lonsdale, Pa.; brothers, Conrad Stangl (Laura), Jerome Stangl (Marie), Urban Stangl (Viola), Edward Stangl (Lucille) and Marvin Stangl (Marian), all of Pierz; sisters Elizabeth Becker and Laura Kapsner, both of Pierz; 22 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.

Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Home in Pierz, Minn.
