Storm sneaks past Flyers

LITTLE FALLS - Lexi Hirsch registered 26 set assists, 24 digs and 10 kills for Little Falls in a 3-2 Central Lakes Conference loss to the Sauk Rapids Storm Friday.

After losing the first game 26-24, the Flyers took the next two 25-21 and 25-20 only to see the Storm rally to take the final two games.

"We played very well," Flyers head coach Becky Abbott said. "We played more consistent tonight than we have in the past few matches."

"Defensively, we had some great digs and some great hustle plays"

Jessica Hanowski added 14 digs followed by Alexa Kapsner's 12 and Paige Soulter's 10. Alayna Kabanuk pounded 18 kills for the Flyers.
