BREEZY POINT- Little goblins and ghouls - including an Elmo and a few princesses - took over Eagle View Elementary School in Breezy Point for Pumkin Fun, a family friendly event for children 5 and younger.

Children were given free run of the gym, filled with age-appropriate play equipment, and could choose between other activities, like face painting and art. Students from the Pequot Lakes High School Art Club painted Halloween-themed designs on children's faces.

Durham, an Early Childhood Family Education teacher, said the event gives parents and their young children an opportunity to become familar with the school the children will soon be attending.
