DEERWOOD - David William Morgan, age 68, of Deerwood, died on Oct. 20, 2007, at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. He was born on June 25, 1939, in Deerwood to Kenneth and Laura (Ellefson) Morgan. He attended school in Deerwood and graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School. He retired in 2004 after 30 years of service in Saudi Arabia. He was a member of the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Post No. 557, Deerwood.
He is survived by his wife, Audree; three daughters, Meghan Morgan, of Tucson, Ariz., Sally (Wendy) Feinen, of Greenville, S.C., Laura Morgan, of Phoenix, Ariz.; stepson, Michael (Chris) Feinen, of Texas; seven grandchildren and special grandson, Michael Feinen, Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Margie (Jim) Daly, of Baxter, Mary (Larry) Nelson, of McGregor; sisters-in-law, Arlene Morgan, of Braham, and Betty (Jack) Cummings, of Ironton; aunt, Ethelyn Hall, Windom; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James and Richard Morgan; sister, Betty Block.
A gathering of a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood from 2-4 p.m. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
