Irene McAllister

LaCROSSE, Wis. - Irene McAllister, age 75, formerly of Holyoke, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at home in LaCrosse, Wis., where she resided with her daughter, Teri Herriwig.

She is survived by her daughters, Dolly Smith, and husband, Graeme, of Holyoke, Cheryl Wade, Debra Moorhouse and Teri Herriwig, and husband, Jeffry, of LaCrosse, Wis.; sons, Steven McAllister, and wife, Mitzi, son, Robert McAllister, of Jenkins, Minn., son, Jesse McAllister, and wife, Cheryl, of Apache Junction, Ariz., and son, Richard McAllister, and wife, Charlotte, of LaPorte, Colo.; 29 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leota Brown, of Tacoma, Wash., and Marilyn Glover, of Leesburg, Fla.; two brothers, Bill Matchett, of Oberlin, Kan., and Frank Matchett, of Aurora, Colo.; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.

There will be a memorial service for Irene and a time of remembrance and sharing for family and friends on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at the VFW Hall in Jenkins, Minn., from 1-4 p.m. followed by burial in Jenkins Cemetery for both Irene and her beloved husband, Bruce, who passed away on Aug. 4, 2007.
