How can we trust the elite media?

Friday, Oct. 15, there was an event in Washington D.C. that the elite media, (CBS, NBC, ABC) chose not to cover and/or report. This event, Mayday for Marriage, was attended by tens of thousands of Christian and conservative supporters of traditional marriage, some busloads from as far away as Seattle, Wash., and San Francisco, Calif.

It concerns me that the media chooses what to tell us about -- how can we trust their reporting when it is so non-objective? A vast majority of the population has voted or expressed they want marriage between a man and a woman to be protected, so naturally a rally of this type and size would be of terrific interest to a large segment of television viewers. If the media is being so selective, can we believe the other reporting they choose to deliver? I hate to sound like an alarmist, but are they even reporting truth?

Our Minn. Senate chose not to "let" the citizens of this state decide if we wanted a constitutional amendment to protect traditional marriage. The media chooses not to "let" us know of traditional marriage events. We need to broadcast our thoughts concerning this issue in some other forum.

In my opinion, this issue and sanctity of life trumps economy, health care and the war -- a country whose moral basis erodes cannot battle the other issues with any credibility.
