Ruth A. Peisch

Ruth A. Peisch, age 83, of Brainerd, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Ruth was born in Barnesville, Minn., Jan. 16, 1920, to Richard and Frieda (Janneck) Edblom. She had been a lifetime Brainerd area resident. She retired as a nurse practitioner at Planned Parenthood. Her interests included weaving and selling rugs and she was an avid gardener.

Survivors include two daughters, Martha Peisch of Brainerd, and Christina Naylor of Florida; a granddaughter, Faye Naylor of Florida; a sister, Virginia Dahnke of Barnesville, Minn.; and her special friend, Pam Berg of East Gull Lake.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Bob Twiton officiating. Burial will be in Lake Edward Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
