Robert L. Prickett, age 78, resident of Brainerd, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at Good Samaritan Society-Woodland in Brainerd. Mr. Prickett was born in Pekin, Ill., June 8, 1931, to Merrill and Bertha (Odoms) Prickett.
He served as an usher at St. Alice Catholic Church in Pequot Lakes and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the VFW. He worked as a starter at Breezy Point Golf Course and loved fishing, golf and coaching kids sports.

Survivors include his wife, Delores; daughters, Linda (Dan) Marrin, of Breezy Point, Chris (Kevin) Walton, of Denver; grandchildren, Rachel (Colin) Marrin, and great-granddaughter, Norah, of West Virginia, and grandchildren Burke and Bailey Walton; brother, Bill (Nancy) Prickett, of Peoria, Ill.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Tom Prickett.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Nisswa with Father George Zeck officiating. Memorials are preferred to Good Samaritan Society-Woodland.
Arrangements are with the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd.
