Nisswa teen placed third in state pageant

NISSWA - Bailey Wachholz, a ninth-grader at Brainerd High School South Campus, was named third runner-up in the Miss Minnesota High School Teen Pageant Oct. 17 in Hopkins.

There were eight contestants and Wachholz was the youngest participant. The pageant focuses on high school experiences, community service and being involved in high school sports or other extracurricular activities.

Wachholz, the daughter of Duane and Pam Wachholz, plans to compete this March in the National Miss High School Pageant in Branson, Mo.
