Katherine L. Larson

BAUDETTE - Katherine "Midge" Lucille Larson, age 92, of Baudette, formerly of Brainerd, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at the Lakewood Medical Center in Baudette. Midge was born on June 12, 1916, in Brainerd to Omar and Katherine (Denis) Burton. She married Raymond L. Larson on Oct. 23, 1948, in Brainerd. She graduated from Brainerd High School and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, Crow Wing County Historical Society and the arboretum.

Survivors include her son, Burton (Judy) Larson, of Baudette, Minn.; sister, Donna Stephens, of Brainerd; and one brother, Irving "Swede" Burton, of Brainerd; two grandchildren, John and Katherine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents; brothers, Lester, Charles, Jay and Minor "Bud" Burton; sister, Jane Innes.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Brainerd. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
