LITTLE FALLS - An Arby's restaurant is coming to Little Falls.
The Little Falls City Council Monday approved two conditional use permits and two variances for Arby's, which will be built on LeMieur Street, which is off State Highway 27 near the Highway 10 exit ramp.
The first conditional use permit requested by the Arby's Restaurant Group will allow its quick service restaurant to be built on the less than one acre property in a non-central business district. The second permit will allow a 50-foot sign to be installed. The city code requires a maximum of 30-foot sign for a business located on one acre.
Arby's needed two variances to allow a 5-foot parking setback from the street right-of-way, instead of the minimum 20-foot setback dictated by city code. The second variance was to allow the continuance of a partial storm water drainage onto State Highway 27 right-of-way property.
A public hearing was Oct. 13 to address the permit requests made by the Arby's Restaurant Group.
The Arby's is slated to open in July.
