Victoria Larson

NISSWA -- Victoria Larson, age 47, resident of Nisswa, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003.

Vicky was born March 28, 1956, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Ronald and LaVon (Sundstrom) Johnson. She was raised in Marshall, Minn., where she attended and graduated high school. She then attended the University of Minnesota in Waseca where she gained a degree as a veterinarian technician. She moved to Bemidji shortly after where she met Charles Larson. She and Charles were married on June 9, 1979, in Bemidji and moved to Iowa where they lived for five years before moving to the Brainerd area in 1986 where they have since made their home. Vicky was a past member of the Nisswa Women of Today, very active in Alcoholics Anonymous for many years and a fond lover of children and animals.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; mother, LaVon of Marshall, Minn.; brother, Todd (Jennifer) Johnson of Hastings, Minn.; uncle and Godfather, Vern (Elly) Duba of Minneapolis; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa with Pastor Chris Meier officiating.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Friday.

Memorials are preferred to Teen Challenge or any Christian youth-based program.
